Eleri works as a community District Nurse for Powys Teaching Health Board, whilst also studying for a Masters (MSc) postgraduate qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice at Glyndwr University. Eleri is married with two children that are now in higher education and she embraces the strong community where they live, having been the Chair of Governors for her local primary school for the past 8 years and an active supporter of the local Young Farmers Club where her children are members.
A fluent Welsh speaker, Eleri’s hobbies include cycling, crafting and gardening – all pursuits that can be actively enjoyed in rural Mid Wales. “I am lucky to live and work in a friendly community with its own culture and language,” said Eleri. “I can travel to work with no hassle from traffic or pollution and the surrounding countryside and hills provide for plenty of outdoor activity”.
