The RHCW annual conference is held in early November at the Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd. The conference runs over two full days, with the exception of the three day celebratory conference held in 2024 to mark 10 years since the publication of the The Mid Wales Health Study (Longley et al, 2014) which gave rise to the establishment of Rural Health and Care Wales.

The format includes:

• Plenary Speakers
• Guest speakers – in the Main Hall, and two breakout rooms
• Networking opportunities
• Academic poster display.

The Conference is chaired by the Chair of the RHCW Stakeholder group.
