Maggie works as a staff nurse in the busy A&E department at Bronglais General Hospital. She is also an Army Medical Service Reserve and has been to Afghanistan twice, working with the 208 Liverpool Field Hospital. Hywel Dda is keen to support Maggie to enable her to work as an Army Reserve Nurse, where she has gained invaluable experience in treating traumas.

One way that Maggie likes to relax is by running and she regularly competes in 10k, 5k and other runs, taking full advantage of the picturesque running routes in and around Aberystwyth.
