The Bronglais Digital Project is a proposal by Rural Health and Care Wales, which aims to enhance visitor and patient experience in Bronglais General Hospital by embracing digital technology. The project seeks to provide patients, visitors, staff and the general public with instant access to information on Bronglais, which will include:
• Map of the wards and facilities
• Visiting times
• Parking and directions
• Rail and transport links
• Specialist services
• Staff and clinician information
• Catering and canteen outlets
This information will be provided in the form of an interactive searchable website, a mobile device ‘App’ and through digital information points places at various sites within the hospital, such as the main reception and entrance to A&E. Through embracing technology, patients and visitors can locate different areas in the hospital and find information with ease – making hospital visits less stressful!
